Senate Bill Proposed on Tampon Tax

Senator Kathleen Passidomo, R-Naples, proposed a sales-tax exemption on the sale of feminine hygiene products, which is similar to the House bill filed last month by Representative Katie Edwards, D-Plantation. Upon consideration during the 2017 legislative session, the bills will take effect January 1, 2018 if successful.
