Creed & Gowdy client wins appeal in the Second District Court of Appeal, reversing summary judgment

Creed & Gowdy and its co-counsel, Benjamin Stevenson, secured a reversal in Florida's Second District Court of Appeal. The firm’s clients—who were restaurant patrons—alleged that they had contracted tuberculosis after being served by an ill waiter. The court held that genuine issues of material fact existed as to whether the restaurant knew or should have known that the employee posed a foreseeable risk to customers.
