Nathaniel Ross suffered a permanent injury to his knee as a result of a Georgia railroad's negligence. After the jury returned a just verdict for Mr. Ross, the railroad appealed, raising several issues in an effort to escape the verdict. Jessie Harrell wrote the answer brief and argued Mr. Ross's case before the Georgia Court of Appeals. The appellate court affirmed the judgment in favor of Mr. Ross, ruling against the railroad on every issue it raised on appeal.
