Thomas Burns has been named as a Florida Bar Board Certified Appellate Specialist. Board certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of competency and experience within an area of law, and also requires that the lawyer display the highest levels of professionalism and ethics in practice. Only seven percent of eligible Florida Bar members are board certified. Thomas is now the fifth member of the firm to achieve board certification in appellate practice, joining Rebecca Creed, Bryan Gowdy, Jessie Harrell and D. Gray Thomas.
